Hope this finds you well; my name is Michael E. Ndegwa My friends call me Mike Ndegwa.

I got an interest in Internet marketing some two years back. My background is on marketing with a blend of basic IT.

In my field as CEA^TM & CEC^TM am self taught by participation and contributing on online programs and practicing the same such that now I can tell you with authority what works and what doesn’t, not from a book worm’s point of view but hard earned experience. Basically I intend to help you cut the learning curve and concentrate on what matters and makes sense for your business. As a publisher and a consultant I understand perfectly the need for progressive and tailored learning. We all started with the alphabets and then proceeded to make logical sequence of the alphabets so as to communicate effectively. Further down us specialized in certain a field that makes us professionals and experts. You can choose to take the two years that I spent in Learning and practicing or just ask an expert to handpick what will work for your business, make you better at it, while your competitor is struggling and testing every single system out there confused on where to begin with the over 10 million search results on Google that are not even geo-targeted.

As a Kenyan and a Nairobi resident am alarmed by the height of things in which technology has hit us as a people and as a country. Before we learn ABCD, the rest of the world is on EFGH. They are always two steps ahead. At some point we’ll have bridge the gap or perish. I see most people excited with the coming of the fiber optic, but as for me my heart is distressed when I see both Corporate and Individuals are not prepared for the opportunities that will come with the same. Again we will have to hire expatriates to do workshops, trainings and Drills to equip us. See more jobs lost.

While I was educating myself and learning from the best in the field of emarketing I realized that there is a lot of inefficiency and lack of co-ordination , “for lack of a better word” in the so called IT department and marketing Department. The IT Dept. concentrate more on hardware, networking and internal information sharing while the marketing Dept. concentrate more on conventional marketing and distancing themselves from the new technology. On the same issue the marketing Dept. needs to move from conventional marketing to INTEGRATED MARKETING. I don’t blame them, I blame the education system; by the way most of my friends are in ICT & marketing. The problem with concentration is, while you focus on “A”, it means you have to abandon “B” at the time. This means IT guys are clueless about marketing and Marketing Guys are clueless about IT.

To cut all the B.S., I realized there is a lapse between the Marketing Department and the IT Department. That’s why I came up with “Internet Marketing”. Not like internet marketing has not been there. It’s only it has not been coined on this side of the world. Again blame it on the Education System. Internet marketing midwives IT and Marketing Department to work in Harmony and get maximum results for the organization.

Internet marketing can be difficult and Scary, at the same time very easy to implement depending on your ability to overcome or completely eliminate constraints. That’s why I established a website (Blog) where you can lay the foundation in emarketing and be brilliant at it.
